Healing is a marathon, not a sprint. Here's what to expect — and how we walk alongside you.

First 48 hours

Day 0 – 2

Light swelling, minor tenderness, and a touch of redness are completely normal. Sleep with a clean pillowcase and resist the urge to inspect every five minutes.

Saline rinse

Week 1 – 4

Twice-daily sterile saline sprays — never alcohol, never hydrogen peroxide. We send you home with our salt-of-the-Mediterranean aftercare bottle.

Settling in

Month 2 – 6

Crusties, occasional itching, and small bumps may show up. Don't panic — and don't change your jewelry yet. Come in for a free check-up.

04

Fully healed

6 – 12 months

Time to swap to something you love. Bring your piece (or ours) and we'll change it for free — first jewelry change is on the house.

Honestly — a brief pinch and a deep breath. Cartilage piercings are sharper than lobes; nose piercings often make eyes water (reflex, not pain). Our piercers walk you through the breath cycle and the needle is in and out in under three seconds.
We don't routinely use topical numbing — most clients don't need it, and it can make tissue swell and shift the placement. For nervous first-timers, we can apply a medical-grade lidocaine on request (+$10).
Earlobes from 6 months (with a parent and pediatric clearance). Cartilage and facial piercings from 13+ with a parent present. Navel and lip piercings from 16+. ID required for everyone over 18.
Lobes: 6–8 weeks. Cartilage and facial: 4–6 months minimum, often longer. Nipple and navel: 9–12 months. We always recommend a free check-up before the first change.
When the studio has open slots, yes. Weekends fill up fast, so we recommend booking online. Same-day appointments often open up before noon — WhatsApp us if you're flexible.
For first piercings, we strictly use our own implant-grade titanium or solid gold — this is non-negotiable for your healing. For jewelry changes on a healed piercing, you're welcome to bring your own piece for inspection.
